more '07 wrap ups

people seem to love these year end best-of things, so i thought i'd do a few more.

BEST OF 07:

homeless or crazy person - weird michael stipe rollerblader. our dedicated readers will remember reading about him in one of our early posts. and he's only gotten better. the other day i saw him rollerblading in red and black striped long johns and singing. loudly. he was like, "LAAAAA, LAAAAA........LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!".

bus route - definitely the route 33. this thing comes by all the time. if you miss one, there's probably another coming in 5 minutes.

public urinator - this was a tough one between the guy outside the train station blatantly peeing all over the side of a building and the guy the other day who double parked his car in front of our apartment, peed, threw a bottle onto the ground, and drove off. i'm going to have to give it to the former, as he seemed like slightly less of a dick.

fashion statement - wow, this was really hard. so many contenders. i personally liked the zip up hoodie i saw last week worn by a young black man. it was a tuxedo printed on a black zip up, kind of like those t-shirts they make. this had a bow-tie, everything. sealing the deal however, were the medalion and cufflinks be-dazzled onto it. i wish i had a picture. it was impressive.

vhs tape - steve would be mad if "kazaam" didn't win. i thought "purple rain" made an impressive showing though.
