mouse trap

so we're not gonna lie. we have a mouse here at 526. we're not sure why, since there is no food to eat here, but it just won't go away. its becoming a nuisance so we finally decided to get some traps. i saw one when i was shopping the other day but i still can't figure out how to set it up. here are the instructions, maybe you can help:
